We are so happy to share with you that Little Koala Book Club is now proudly supporting @readingoutofpoverty. With your support, 5% of profits from each storybook & dress up box purchased and some of our books, will be donated to Reading out of Poverty whose mission is to give the gift of literacy to disadvantaged children.
Reading out of Poverty is a non-profit organisation that promotes literacy skills in early childhood and provides literacy resources and programs such as storytime sessions, pop up libraries and donating books to families with young children from low socio-economic backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, and indigenous individuals in Victoria.
This collaboration has given Little Koala Book Club a great opportunity to give back to the community and to a wonderful cause that shares our passion for reading and education, and the power it has to give children and young people opportunities in life and for a better community and society.
Please check out their website:https://roop.org.au/ ROOP which has incredible resources and research on the advantages of reading to children at a young age and how that can help lead disadvantaged children out of a poverty cycle.
